It’s that time of the season again! Where I spend far too long lusting over things online that I definitely cannot afford. My way of dealing with this temptation is to forever add new items to my ASOS wishlist, until eventually they disappear into the internet void (aka when the 60 days is up and ASOS filters the items out of your saved page). If you read my Winter Wishlist post in this series, then you’ll know that I’m really into fashion, and finding unique pieces that I can add into my wardrobe. Now that Spring is here, I’m excited to bring out more bold colours, floral patterns and a couple less layers. Melbourne’s Spring isn’t always the warmest, so you’ll notice a few items in this wishlist that are still a little cosy – perfect for these windy days!

Let’s kick off this wishlist the same way I did the last, with tops! When I’m looking for a good Spring-top, I usually look for geometric colours, floral embroidery and fun prints – I feel like this little line up includes a bit of everything! If I’m wanting something cosy but still quirky I’ll usually go for something like this brilliant miss-match striped tee – I love the altered lengths of each part of this top, it’s a little wild but still works amazingly! Going along the notion of comfort, I don’t think you can ever go wrong with a tee, printed or plain. That’s why I think this super fun fruit print tee and this beautiful pastel purple baby tee would be a great go-to for the springtime. Lastly in the tops department, I’ve fallen back in love with button ups. I think they’re a really cute way to dress up any outfit a little, and there’s so many options out there at the moment. These two embroidery shirts fulfill everything I want in floral shirts. This boxy shirt has a wonderful cropped length that makes it really easy to throw on, and this longer shirt (that’s actually a dress) is so beautiful, I think it’d look absolutely lovely with some skinny jeans and boots.
one. pull & bear allover multi fruit top $14.00 | two. boohoo embroidered shirt dress $44.00 | three. asos curve t-shirt in oversized fit and mix and match stripes $40.00 | four. pull & bear embroidered boxy shit $44.00 | five. monki crew neck t-shirt $30.00

I’m always scared to try new things as far as bottoms go, as I’m fairly self conscious about my legs (ya girl is thicc), so I tend to play it safe with a maxi skirt or wide leg pants as the warmer months approach. I thought I’d try and find a few options that I think I’d feel good in but still feel comfortable. As I mentioned, I’ll usually go for a longer skirt, so something like this black midi skirt that has a skater fit I think would be a staple in my Spring wardrobe, it’d go with so much and would be really flattering on my figure. Now, on a day where I’m feeling a little loud… I think this stunning orange flowy skirt would look gorgeous for an outing during the day. It’d look super cute with a pair of sneakers and a plain tee. Now, if I was feeling REALLY confident this adorable denim mini skirt with floral details is right up my street. I can’t remember the last time I actually wore a skirt like this, but a girl can always dream! Over the past few months I’ve been slowly falling back in love with denim (as long as it doesn’t suffocate my legs), and I’ve seen jeans with the kind of mixed-denim detailing like these mom jeans with two-toned denim and I’ve been dying to get my hands on a pair. Lastly, if you know me you know I’m obsessed with culottes and wide leg pants as they’re comfy, flattering and go with A LOT of things, and this patterned pair look like they’d be perfect, love!
one. asos curve midi jersey skirt with pockets $32.00 | two. monki ruffle tiered midi skirt $60.00 | three. monki side striped tapered high waist jeans $99.00 | four. monki wide leg checked pants $60.00 | five. monki embroidered denim mini skirt $60.00

As Spring time here in Melbourne is still fairly rainy and not overly warm, jumpers and jackets tend to be included in most outfits. Since starting a new nannying job I find myself looking for pieces that will keep me warm and are super easy to throw on, as well as not causing much hassle during the day – so knits like this blue trumpet sleeve, this pink cropped number and this gorgeous mustard detailed knit are PERFECT! I love all three of these knits as while they are super comfy and easy, they’ve also got a lovely Spring touch as they are all bold colours. As there’s still rainy days going on at the moment, a raincoat is the perfect addition to any outfit to keep me and my lovely clothes dry, and this funky silver number looks wonderful. Lastly, I’ve always been obsessed with denim jackets, they make any outfit look a bit more ‘put together’ whilst still being comfy and adding just a touch of warmth for the windier days, when I saw this jacket from Monki I fell in love (no pun intended), I just love denim that has little quirks.
one. pretty little thing flared sleeve jumper $44.00 | two. monki balloon sleeve mohair knitted jumper $89.00 | three. asos curve rain mac in metallic silver $89.00 | four. pretty little thing neck detail jumper $55.00 | five. monki embroidered heart back denim jacket $53.00

Speaking of easy, I absolutely adore jumpsuits, maxi dresses an cover-all’s as a great, stylish and super quick and cute outfit. As mentioned many times previously, I love wide leg trousers that are cinched at the waist – so numbers like this ADORABLE floral jumpsuit and these chic wide leg dungarees are everything I’ve been looking for. I find these kinds of pieces so fun and flowly, and are just the perfect statement for any Spring outfit. Now, if you really want to make a statement, this totally over-the-top sheer pink dress is another one of those pieces in this wishlist that I would put under the category ‘one can dream’. I honestly don’t see myself EVER pulling this off, but when I saw it I just died inside at how brilliantly extra it is. For the warmer days, I think it’s a great opportunity to chuck on a maxi dress with a cute denim jacket and call it a day. This stunning red floral dress with a cold shoulder detail just looks wonderful, I feel like it’s the sort of dress that would look lovely on just about everyone! Finally, this super quirky galaxy print smock dress fulfills all my ‘primary school art teacher’ dreams, and I loveeeee it.
one. monki bold floral wide leg jumpsuit $70.00 | two. monki check dungarees $80.00 | three. monki high neck mesh dress $70.00 | four. boohoo floral cold shoulder maxi dress $60.00 | five. monki planet and stars midi dress $50.00

Recently I’ve become just OBSESSED with everything accessories related. I think jewelry, sunglasses and bags are a great way to add interest to an otherwise fairly simple outfit. As far as earrings go, I have really been loving statement and dangle pairs as there are so many cute options out there. These lovely pink tassel dangles, and these quirky clear hoops are just the kinds of earrings I love for this time of year. As you may have noticed from my sunglasses collection post, I’ve got a bit of an addiction (Quay Australia specifically) – So when I saw this amazing pair of pink-lens glasses I fell in love! I really like that these look a little different to regular sunglasses, and don’t have the traditional lens connector that goes over the nose. Going along with the pink theme, I’ve been lusting for a Fjallraven Kanken backpack for a while, and I think this pastel pink colour would be perfect for the Spring Summer time. Annnnnd finally, I’ve noticed I’m starting to collect a lot of statement socks, I like to pair them with either a pair of ankle boots or sneakers, and I haven’t seen many pairs in this gorgeous mustard colour, super cute!
one. river island triple tassel dangle earrings $20.00 | two. monki metallic rib ankle socks $10.00 | three. monki transparent gem hoops $12.00 | four. quay australia camden heights round sunglasses in pink $60.00 | five. fjallraven mini kanken in pink $129.00
They’re the pieces I’m currently in awe over for the spring time, who knows maybe some of them will somehow find their way into my basket…. and then my doorstep. Which of these products was your favourite? And what kind of pieces are you looking forward to digging up for the Spring time? Let me know in the comments!
Much Love, Ebony xo
