Product: Spin for Perfect Skin Facial Cleansing brush
Brand: Vanity Planet
Cost: $100.00AUD RRP – I got it for $40.00AUD on Hard to Find
If you’re a beauty and skincare addict like myself then you’ll know of the raved about facial cleanser by Clarisonic. I’ve wanted one for a long, long time but there’s one little problem, it’s crazy expensive – and the high pricetag is definitely not in my university student budget. So, when I came across the brand Vanity Planet and saw that their cleansing kit was ridiculously cheap over on HardToFind I couldn’t pass the opportunity to try it out. When I saw the ‘Spin For Perfect Skin’ I immediately thought it could be a dupe for the Clarisonic so I thought I’d try it out and let you know my thoughts.

one. ‘spin for perfect skin’ single speed handle. | two. facial cleansing brush attachment. | three. facial exfoliating brush attachment. | four. facial pumice stone attachment. | five. large body brush attachment.
The Vanity Planet Spin for Perfect Skin is a cleansing, exfoliating face & body system that includes both the brush head and four attachments for different purposes in the kit. When purchasing the kit you can choose which accent colour you’d like for the handle, of course, I chose pink. The kit comes in a super cute box with all the interchangeable brush heads, the handle and a booklet explaining the use for each attachment as well as the benefits and instructions for the product. The product itself is battery powered and requires four AA batteries that are inserted into the handle. The handle itself is water resistant which means it’s great for in the shower use. The kit also includes a code for a discount next time you shop with Vanity Planet, which is great as the attachments will need replacing after three months of use.

I decided to test out the VP cleanser over the course of a week in order to give a good review. The attachment that I’ve gotten the most use out of has been the facial cleansing brush. This brush head is intended for everyday use and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing. After I shower and have removed my makeup I’ll do a second cleanse with this brush using warm water and a gentle cleansing gel. Then I’ll pat my face dry and clean the brush attachment. Afterwards my skin feels just that little bit cleaner. Usually my skin can get quite oily on my forehead, nose and chin. Since I’ve been integrating this system into my skincare routine my face hasn’t been getting as oily as it usually is by the end of the day, and my makeup seems to stay on much longer. I’ll use the exfoliating attachment once a week as my skin is fairly sensitive and I try to avoid irritation wherever possible.

If you’re on a budget and are looking for something that will REALLY cleanse your skin, I really recommend the VP Spin for Perfect Skin as a dupe for the Clarisonic cleanser. The cleanser works amazingly, is great for face and body and as an added bonus, Vanity Planet is completely cruelty free. Comment and let me know if you’ve tried the VP cleanser or any other dupe for the clarisonic! If you enjoy me reviewing products like this one be sure to come back as I’ll be posting on here two to three times a week and will be sure to include lots more reviews just like this one.
Much Love, Ebony xo
