I know that pretty much every post I’ve made on this blog since September started has been Spring related, but I just love the season so, so much that I feel super inspired to create seasonal posts (don’t worry some less spring-heavy posts are coming soon!). For today’s post I thought I’d share the super simple everyday spring makeup look that I do most of the time for day-to-day tasks. The look is nothing too over the top and is one of the quicker looks I tend to do. I decided to create my first ever YouTube video as an addition to this post, let me know if you like the method of incorporating video as a way of communicating my ideas and loves! If you like the vibe of the video I’d love for you to Subscribe to my channel and perhaps give the video a thumbs up as a way of letting me know if you’d like to see more videos made by myself!

As you can see, this look was super easy to create, and doesn’t require much (if any) precision skills. I love this look as it’s not only quick, but it’s also super fresh and bright, whilst still passing as a neutral makeup look. If you’d like to find out more about the products I used to create this look I listed each item in the description of the YouTube video. There’s a bit of a mix of high end and drugstore products, which is the norm for me for both everyday and more ‘going out’ looks. I’ve always been an advocate for finding affordable products that work brilliantly, that’s why some of my reappearing products are ones from brands such as Coloupop and NYX.
I thought I’d give a quick example of the type of outfit I tend to go for during the Spring time. I’m always a big fan of highwaisted culottes as they sit on my fuller figure beautifully and are super lightweight and comfortable. Spring is also my favourite time to bring out all my quirky button up shirts and blouses – this cactus shirt from Cotton On is one of my current go-to’s. To finish the look off, I will usually add a pair of statement sunglasses and my DIY patch denim jacket and is by far my favourite thing. I’m actually in the process of reworking a new patch jacket (stay tuned for a post all about that!)
There you go! That is my super quick, super simple, and super lovely go-to Spring look. Let me know what your favourite part of the look was and what your Spring makeup staples are for this time of year! Also don’t forget to go over to my YouTube channel via the video on this post and subscribe for more content in the future!
Much Love, Ebony xo
