If you read any of my travel blogs, you will know that I just got back from an amazing month away in Austria and the UK. While it’s amazing to be home, this trip has to be one of the biggest adventures I’ve ever been on. Before I went on this holiday I had never been outside of Australia, never had a passport, and was terrified by the concept of leaving home. The first week away for me was hard, I was extremely homesick, I missed my familiar surrounds and I was so worried that I wouldn’t enjoy myself. But I did get out of that place, and it meant I was able to experience everything in it’s full potential, and it was brilliant. Out of all the places we visited, I think Innsbruck was my favourite. The entire town was covered in snow, I saw some of the work by one of my favourite architects, Zaha Hadid, and the entire experience was just so magical.
I know this post isn’t all that long, but I really wanted to share with you all a short montage of some of the things I did and saw while visiting Europe as a way of sharing my experience a little more and creating a kind of video time capsule that I can watch every now and then. I think that this trip has made me more confident to try new experiences, a little more independent and much more keen to see more of this huge world we live in. I hope you enjoy this video, I’m trying to get better at editing videos but it’s taking time! Let me know what you thought of the video in the comments.
Much Love, Ebony xo
