I have been waiting to write this post for what seems like a year, but here I am – finally writing my thoughts on the Zoella Beauty ‘Jelly & Gelato’ collection. If you’d like to read a little more on the brand and the person behind it all, head over to my last Zoella Beauty review – where I hauled a bunch of her Christmas products for 2017. As I mentioned in that post, purchasing products from this brand is quite tricky here in Australia – however some of the products were released in Target at launch time back in July last year. Over a few months I took my time getting my hands on as many products from the range as possible, sourcing items from places like catch of the day, feelunique and target. After roughly four months of waiting… and waiting… I had everything and I’ve been trying them all out since.

The ‘Jelly & Gelato’ collection’s scent is described to be elderflower and double cream – which to me fits the name quite well. I imagine the scent based off the name and description to be floral, subtly sweet but with a smooth, rich finish – and to me that is how I’d describe the scent of these products. I think this range is a great one for the summer time, so I’m not too bothered that it’s taken me six months to post this review as it’s now Summer here in Australia!

I was tossing and turning over whether or not I wanted to get the clutch from this collection, but I bit the bullet and got it – and I’m so glad I did. Many of Zoella’s clutches released in her beauty ranges will have bold text on them as part of the design, so I appreciate the higher level of sophistication this clutch came with whilst still staying true to the bubbly nature of the brand. I really like the size of this clutch too, the versatility of being able to use it folded over (as shown) for less items and more of an ‘accessory’ look or unfolding it to allow for toiletries or makeup.

I was quite surprised by the body scrub as it doesn’t feel or apply like many of my other scrub products. I’d describe the consistency of this as thick with very small exfoliation flakes. I have been enjoying this scrub, but not for when I’m after a deep exfoliation. I’ve found this product perfect for quick light scrubs that can be done a couple times a week.

Fun fact my boyfriend probably would just love for me to share, the Zoella body creams are his favourite. Now, he hasn’t said this to me directly, however whenever he uses a cream or gives me a foot massage (cute) he’ll ALWAYS go for one of my Zoella ones over any other in my collection. He’s got it right though, this cream is DELISH.

As I’ve said a million times on various blog posts, I don’t have a bath – and that means shifting my bathing product obsession to the shower. So I’ll always make sure to grab all the shower products from a collection to enhance my shower fun. I love both of these products however I’ve been reaching for the ‘shower sauce’ body wash more often as I love the jelly-like consistency, I love popping this bottle in the fridge before showering as it makes the gel a little cold and results in a lovely cooling feeling.

The last product I purchased from the ‘Jelly & Gelato’ range was the body mist. I bought the mini version of the product in the gift set that included four different scents from Zoella Beauty. While I love the scent of this range, it’s not my favourite as a body mist, I find it just a little too sweet for me so I might pass this one onto a friend or little sister.

I’ve been loving using these products over the last few months, and now that I’m back from holiday in chilly Europe I’m looking forward even more to use them for the remainder of Summer. Have you tried any products from this range? If you have let me know which ones you have and what you think of them! Don’t forget to read my last review of Zoella Beauty products before you go!

Much Love, Ebony
